You can speak directly to our Event Director Liz Ormesher who would be happy to discuss opportunities to get involved in the Show – she can be reached at [email protected]. You can also find out more information here Get Involved - National Equine Show

Are there any jobs available?

Not currently but please contact [email protected] and we will pass your query on.

If you are interested in speaking at the event we would love to hear from you - please contact [email protected]

How are you working to reduce the carbon footprint at the show?

From working with the venue, looking at ourselves and collaborating with exhibitors. But here’s the thing… Visitors’ travel is the biggest carbon emitter of each show. So we need your help. Taking the train instead of driving will reduce the emissions of your journey by around 80%. The NEC is a 5-minute walk from Birmingham International train station or 90 seconds by the free air-rail walk. If you need to drive, car share with friends and reduce your impact by 50%. There’s a great network of cycle and footpaths in the area and bike racks are near the entrance. There are also electric car charging point and more to come in the future…

Is there a cloakroom?

The NEC has a cloakroom before you enter the Show. Visitors with a VIP Ticket will have access to a VIP Cloakroom in the VIP Lounge.

Do I need to book to see a speaker?

No need to book, our speaker program is included as part of your ticket and seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Will there be food stalls?

Yes, there will be a number of NEC-managed food stalls, and some of our exhibitors will sell packaged food items too.

Are there any horses at your event?

No, this is a retail-focused event providing a great day out for horse lovers but there are no horses or demonstrations at the show.

Will I need ID?

We do not require ID to gain entry to the Show.

My question isn’t here

If you still have a question, please email us on [email protected]

Welcome to the National Equine Show

WELCOME

Liz Ormesher

Event Director
at Racoon Media Group

Welcome to the FIRST National Equine Show at the NEC! We have been looking forward to sharing this awesome event with you all, so we truly hope that you enjoy what we have on offer for you! Whatever type of horse person you are, there will be something at this show for you.

We have curated this show to have something for everyone and we strive for it to be as inclusive as possible showing that the equestrian world is a place for everyone and you are all welcome as part of our community.

Take your time going around the show to see well known brands and new brands that you have discovered. Take the opportunity to speak to the experts at the show to get the best advice on products, brands, and services.

So, what can you find at the event? Two stages with amazing speakers and content – The Inspiration Stage sponsored by LeMieux and The Skills Theatre will play host to speakers including Carl Hester, Piggy March, Esme Higgs , Sir Lee Pearson and many more. The Skills Theatre will play host to the first Yard Supplement Connect conference for Yard owners brought to you by Equestrian Index. Head over to the Agenda button on the Show Guide to see who is speaking, when and where.

Fun stuff to do? Yes plenty! We will have the Equipe Dressage Experience using the Racewood Dressage Simulator and the PolyJumps Eventer Experience using the Eventer model. These features will be popular so get there early! We also have EEquine bring you a Rider Wellness Zone with balance classes to get involved in, PB Movement with their Rider Injury Clinic, JockeyCam with their Virtual Reality experience, The Nail Bus for a little show pamper and many more fun things to do on some of our exhibitors’ stands.

This is a retail event and you will be able to purchase onsite so make sure your arms are ready!

On display are hundreds of brands and thousands of products. Our exhibitors are here to help you choose the Riderwear, Horsewear and anything else you might need. Please do take the time to see all the stands as there are new brands and services which you may not yet have seen.

Finally, we also have some exciting plans for 2024 which will be announced at the end of the show on Sunday at the Inspiration Stage including some wonderful new guests for 2024.

If you’d like to share any feedback about the event (good or constructive) then please do contact me at any time – your feedback is important and helps us build a better event for the future, so look out for the visitor survey post event too.

Thank you again for coming and being part of the National Equine Show Community,

With best wishes

Tokyo 2020 was Natasha’s third Paralympics however this time she was riding her new partner Keystone Dawn Chorus. After a relatively short time together they delivered and brought home gold in the Team Competition and double silver Individually.

Tegan Vincent-Cooke

Tegan Vincent-Cooke

I’m Tegan Vincent-Cooke, I’m 22 years old International Para Dressage Rider for team GB and a content creator. I’m in my final year studying TV, Film and Digital Production and look forward to entering the industry but also continuing my journey as a content creator. Apart from horses I’m also passionate and an activist for disability awareness, LGBTQ & BLM.

I started riding the age of 4 through RDA, which was suggested as a form of therapy. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the sport. It wasn’t though until the age of 21 that I was able to buy my first horse Coco, due to not coming from a horsey background and until I could support myself and the sport financially. Thankfully my whole journey to finding Coco was documented through my documentary “TEGAN” on YouTube commissioned by Netflix.

For the next year my goal is to get back competing at 3*. Also to start creating more industry standard content about equestrianism, with the possibility of a podcast.
