I am 35years old and have been around horses for 28 years. I started off working at a riding school in return for lessons. I was lucky enough to have my own horse from the age of 11 who I competed in local shows, jumping and dressage. I worked with horses until the age of 21. I went on to be a dental nurse then a postlady whilst still owning my own horse. In 2020 I lost my 30 year old heart horse. Adjusting to life without him after 20 years has been extremely tough. I also had a 33 year old Welsh cob who I rescued but sadly lost Saturday 17th December this year. I now only have Opal, a 10 year old Andalusian. He came to me 2 years ago and after alot of medical issues, he is now fully healthy. We only hack currently but next year I have plans to start getting him out and about and eventually compete in dressage. I now work with Shire horses who I drive and educate the public on the history of them during victorian times.
