Having been around horses for more than half my life now, it’s safe to say it is my life! I started out volunteering at my local riding school in order to get riding lessons and now I am a yard manager at a wonderful RDA centre, where each day I get to help people experience the magic of a horse.
Lumos is a 17.1hh Irish Draught who’s just turned ten and Wilma is a rising two year old cob. I love sharing my equestrian lifestyle as I develop my skills alongside knowledge to benefit a developing career and passion. Sharing regular post’s and hoping to expand to YouTube.
After a serious fall in 2022 life has changed a lot. But I’m not letting it stop me! Every day at work I am inspired by people who overcome a range of barriers and it has given me the power, alongside the horses, to take back the reins on my personal struggles.
With Lumos I currently compete British Dressage for our local riding club’s Team Quest and hope to turn a hoof to much more in the future!
