At the start of 2023 I was a non-horsey guy just retiring from club rugby. When I met my partner I knew she came part and parcel with 3 horses, but I didn’t know I’d fall so head over heels in love with them.
Now I could imagine life without them. The 2023 National Equine Show was my first ever horsey event and for that reason the show holds a special place in my heart.
I can’t wait to attend again in 2024, hopefully this time I’ll feel more prepared to carry 101 shopping bags… The demo’s helped me expand my knowledge and while I joke about how much we bought, our horses are our lives and I love spoiling them rotten (just don’t tell my bank account that!)
