Julie Driver Pilates education zone

With over 25 years of teaching experience in the UK and internationally, Julie founded Julie Driver Pilates Education, to specialise in qualifying advanced Pilates teachers and creating tailored programs for equestrians. Her work is recognised by YMCA Awards reflecting her commitment to high-quality Pilates education.

As a lifelong equestrian, Julie integrates her love for horses with Pilates and is proud to support the Wesko Equestrian Foundation as their Pilates teacher. Julie’s journey through rehabilitation after two major injuries, including learning to walk again after a 2008 skiing
accident, has shaped her empathetic approach to teaching. Her personal experience with recovery inspires her to help others overcome challenges and build resilience through movement. In 2014, Julie was honoured as the Pilates Anytime Instructor of the Year and continues to share her expertise globally through online classes and workshops.

She also holds the Monty Roberts Introductory Certificate of Horsemanship and believes Pilates is the ideal way for riders to improve their posture, strength, and balance. Her goal is to empower riders to feel confident, balanced, and in harmony with their horses.

At the Julie Driver Pilates Education Zone, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Pilates Reformer, a highly effective piece of apparatus used to develop strength, balance, coordination, and control.

Using advanced exercises such as The Snake, the Reformer helps equestrians improve hip, spine, and shoulder mobility while building deep core stability and body awareness. These qualities directly support better posture, balance, and harmony in the saddle.

Two professional Reformers will be available throughout the show, with scheduled, supervised sessions allowing attendees to watch, try, and feel the benefits of Reformer training first-hand under expert guidance.

This interactive experience offers riders a powerful insight into how off-horse training can elevate performance, confidence, and resilience.
