In brief, the ArcEquine utilises microcurrent therapy – a type of electrotherapy – that has been widely studied since the 1970's. Microcurrent therapy is drug-free, non-invasive, and well-evidenced. It has two predominant effects on the body; to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation, and to facilitate tissue repair. We have redesigned large bulky equipment and made it wearable and useable within a yard setting. Many equestrians have used the ArcEquine to manage conditions including laminitis, navicular, and arthritic changes, in addition to increasing the recovery of soft tissue injuries such as tendon and ligament injuries. Furthermore, ArcEquine's sister product – the Arc4Health – is a Class IIa medical device that is certified for pain management and tissue repair.
