Best Halloween Horsey Pic Competition – Full Terms & Conditions (UK)
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is The National Equine Show, operated by Raccoon Media Group, registered in the United Kingdom (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
2.2. Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before entering.
2.3. Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, or anyone professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter.
2.4. One entry per person. Duplicate or multiple entries from the same individual may be disqualified.
3. How to Enter
3.1. To enter, participants must:
a. Post a Halloween-themed photo featuring a horse on their own public Instagram feed.
b. Tag @nationalequineshow and include the hashtag #SpooktacularHorseyPic in the caption.
3.2. Entrants must ensure their Instagram account is set to “public” for the duration of the competition so their entry can be viewed and verified.
3.3. No purchase is necessary to enter.
3.4. Entries submitted by any other means (e.g. direct message, email) will not be accepted.
4. Competition Period
4.1. Entries must be received by Sunday 2 November 2025 at midnight (UK time).
4.2. The winner will be announced on Monday 3 November 2025 on the National Equine Show’s official Instagram account, @nationalequineshow.
5. Judging and Selection
5.1. The winner will be chosen by a panel from the National Equine Show team based on creativity, effort, and originality.
5.2. The panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Prize
6.1. The prize is two (2) weekend tickets to the National Equine Show.
6.2. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
7. Winner Notification
7.1. The winner will be contacted via direct message from @nationalequineshow only.
7.2. The winner must respond within seven (7) days of the message being sent. If the winner does not respond within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. Use of Entries and Publicity
8.1. By entering, participants grant the Promoter permission to share, repost, and feature their submitted image on the Promoter’s social media channels and website, crediting the original creator.
8.2. The entrant retains copyright of their photo but agrees to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for promotional purposes related to this competition and future marketing of the National Equine Show.
9. Data Protection
9.1. Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will only be processed for the purpose of administering the competition and fulfilling the prize, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2. Entrants’ details will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary for prize fulfilment.

10. Liability
10.1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received for any reason.
10.2. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained as a result of accepting or using the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
11. General
11.1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend this competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.2. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
11.3. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
11.4. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
