Five speakers announced for National Equine Show 2027 as record numbers reported for the 2026 show

The National Equine Show is delighted to share five of the speakers that will appear at the 2027 show, following a significant increase in visitor numbers at the 2026 event.

This year saw 17,873 people attend the National Equine Show over two days at the NEC, an increase of almost 3000 people from the previous year’s event. This was the fourth year of the show.

Now, looking forward to the 2027 event, which will be held on 27-28 February 2027, the National Equine Show is delighted to announce five of the speakers that will be in attendance.

“We were blown away by the 2026 show and are very much at work on the next edition, so much so that we’re now in the position to announce that Megan Elphick, Freddy Steele, Demir Topcu, Ben Atkinson, and Hannah Sims (Silly Prune) are already confirmed,” said Liz Ormersher, Event Director of the National Equine Show. “As we continue to evolve the show, visitors can expect to see exciting new developments in the Meet & Greet area, but we’ll announce more soon!”

The surge in visitors for the 2026 show meant that the hall was busy throughout the two days with stands enjoying brisk trade, and visitors being able to get involved in the various features, from talks on the Inspiration and 360 Skills Stages, to riding simulators and have-a-go style spaces across the show.

Tickets for the 2027 event are yet to be released, but sign up to be the first to hear when they do at www.nationalequineshow.com.
