Over 15,000 equestrian enthusiasts gathered at the NEC in Birmingham last weekend for the National Equine Show. Visitors from across the UK came together for the third edition of the show which has become a key fixture in the equine community’s calendar.
With an outstanding lineup of speakers, thrilling demonstrations, and a showcase of top-tier equestrian products, the event offered two days full to the brim of inspiration and innovation for horse lovers of all disciplines. Attendees had the chance to engage with some of the biggest names in the equine world, including Esme Higgs, Carl Hester MBE, Megan Elphick and Bob Champion, as well as discover the latest trends in equine care, fashion, and technology.
Industry leaders shared their expertise on topics such as equine nutrition, rider mindset, and sustainable horse care while demonstrations and action-packed live sessions, featuring top trainers and riders, captivated audiences, offering insights into training and showcasing their skills and techniques.
“The energy and enthusiasm at this year’s National Equine Show was truly incredible,” said National Equine Show Event Director, Liz Ormesher. “Seeing the equestrian community come together to celebrate their passion for horses, share knowledge, and experience the latest innovations was wonderful. We are delighted to have welcomed over 15,000 attendees and are grateful to all our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and visitors for making this event such a resounding success.”
The National Equine Show boasts the most extensive shopping experience in the industry, bringing together an unparalleled selection of equestrian brands, retailers, and innovators under one roof. From high-quality tack and apparel to the latest advancements in horse care and equipment, attendees had access to an unbeatable range of products. With exclusive show offers, expert advice, and hands-on demonstrations, the event provided a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for equestrians of all levels.
Catherine Baker, President of The Society of Master Saddlers said “We have been thrilled with our experience at The National Equine Show this year. Being involved since its launch has reinforced that the event attracts exactly the audience the Society of Master Saddlers aims to reach. Sponsoring the 360 Skills Theatre this year was a proud milestone and the response to our ‘Look For The Badge’ Campaign was fantastic. Seeing over 450 people engage in our ‘Have A Go’ sessions further proved the appreciation for the heritage craft of saddlery. It’s inspiring to witness such enthusiasm for skilled craftsmanship and the importance of using registered, qualified professionals in the industry”.
Following this successful edition, planning is already underway for The National Equine Show 2026, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on the 28th February-1st March 2026. The event will continue to provide an exciting and enriching experience for equestrians across the UK, with new features, engaging content, and a wide range of exhibitors.
