From humble origins, Dan has risen through the equestrian ranks with his dedication, motivation and passion for the equine world. Starting his equestrian competition career at the age of 20, Dan was selected to represent the U.K. Armed Forces by the British Army, to Event and Show Jump internationally, whilst concurrently conducting his military duties.
As an aspiring Sport Psychologist, Dan has worked alongside athletes, teams and organisations from grassroots to elite level across a plethora of sports whilst producing talent development pathway research for the British Equestrian Federation and sports academies.
Dan is a Mental Health Champion within the Army and NHS, supporting veterans and soldiers with PTSD. Dan also produces free mental health workbooks and writes articles for numerous publications discussing relevant topics on mental health and performance psychology for all.
