National Equine Show 2024 now on! Open Show Guide

Brooke Howells

Although only 13 I am a positive, passionate, dedicated and sympathetic horse rider and truly delighted to be an Ambassador for The National Equine Show.  I consider myself to be polite and conscientious and although relatively new to social media I am active on my instagram bsh.equestrian.

My favourite and most competent discipline is Dressage.  I cherish the partnership I have with my horse Twoie ‘Starborn Two Step’, who is a 16hh Grey German Reit Horse and I have had him a year now. We have built a trust and partnership which I’m really proud of and together we have won UA Dressage championship classes at Prelim and Novice level, qualified for Bicton and Keysoe International Regional Dressage Finals placing within the top 10 at both events and we are currently just starting out competing at BD Prelim and Novice level Dressage, hoping to make the move to Elementary in 2023. Additionally, we enjoy Combined Training, and low level SJ and showing.

I am determined and focused and Twoie is my constant.   We train 4 times a week and hack out with friends at the weekends, I love meeting and riding with equestrians regardless of their age, discipline, background or experience and I am an active member of South Dorset Pony Club and Purbeck District Riding club and I feel very lucky as both clubs have brilliant coaches who are always very encouraging and supportive to help me achieve my goals.

I am incredibly excited to have this opportunity to be an Ambassador for The National Equine Show offering ideas and feedback and working as a team. Especially with all the amazing speakers lined up and fantastic brands attending. Truly cannot wait for show time and feel privileged to be a part of the experience….
